The Summit calls for global attention to and action with scalable proven and emerging policies, metrics, methods, practices, technologies, and opportunities to mitigate climate change in the next decade and beyond.

Policy makers, developers, architects, engineers, construction professionals, scientists, and researchers will gain valuable insights and develop new interdisciplinary and cross-functional collaboration opportunities through a series of keynotes, case studies, tours, exhibitions, and interactive sessions.

The solution to the planet’s challenges to develop it sustainability lie at the intersections of the natural and social sciences, design, engineering, business, and public policy. The 2010 World Expo in Shanghai is the ideal launching pad for a serious, interdisciplinary, inter-organizational, and global treatment of the sustainable development of buildings and infrastructure in their natural, economic, and social contexts.

Attendees can experience the innovative design and technology showcases from over 45 international pavilions at the Expo, right at the heart of China’s financial capital of Shanghai.
